That’s where I found myself tonight. I had a stressful, hectic, busy day at work. Came home tired and hungry, didn’t really feel like doing anything. I made a smoothie for dinner, sat down with my Kindle in one hand and smoothie in the other (well, I did occasionally set the smoothie down to “turn the page”) and spent a nice half hour decompressing.
That was enough to spur me to at least start writing. I figured I’d write at least half of my goal (which would be about 833 words) and then I could stop if I wanted to. Kind of got going after a while and ended up with 1837 words when I came to a natural stopping place.
Now I need to spend a little time thinking about the next “chapter” of the book, the direction I want it to go next. So we’ll see how tomorrow’s writing goes. Oh…and the word count for my little Camp NaNoWriMo novel stands at 19963!! Can I get a high-five from anyone???
