Camp Nano…day 3

Camp NaNoWriMo

Ahh…the writing was more difficult this evening.  I still managed to write a little over 1700 words (total of 7617 so far) today, but it most definitely wasn’t flowing smoothly.  Having said that, I was still pleased with a couple of passages from today’s writing…so can’t complain.

I couldn’t sleep last night, seriously, woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep for a couple of hours.  While I was awake, I thought about getting up and writing, but was afraid I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep at all…finally drifted off.  Then had to get up and go in to work…busy, busy…

Now that I’ve got my writing done for the day, I’m thinking about just taking a nice relaxing bath, then going to bed to read.  That Kindle is being neglected since I’m spending so much time writing these days.

Wow…for someone who usually has plenty to say, tonight’s post is pretty abbreviated…ah well, better than rambling on about nothing, right?

  1. I love the cool Camp Nano logo! Keep up the good work! Sometimes you need a break to read to get reinvigorated in your writing. A nature walk helps, too. 🙂

    • That is a pretty cool logo, isn’t it? I tell you, I was so tired and sleepy when I got home from work today, that I took a nap…so we can add that to our ways to get reinvigorated in our writing!!

  2. Not every day is an awesome writing day! I would say that relaxing is indeed a good idea 😉

  3. I caught up on word count yesterday, so I’m pretty proud of myself. Still two thousand short of you. You’re just flying!
