Sixty days..some good days, some not so good days..but still, sixty days and still moving forward. That’s not too shabby…goodness knows, there have been times when I haven’t even made it six days without throwing in the towel. So I’m celebrating sixty days on this crazy fitness journey.
Today was another super early day for work…5 am…again. Whew! I’m so not getting enough sleep these days. But I sure am getting in a lot of exercise at work…I couldn’t even guess how many times I was up and down a ladder today…like my own little stair-stepper at work…and not only do I not have to pay gym fees, but they’re paying me!! You just can’t get that kind of deal with all of your workouts, can you? In addition to all of that ladder climbing, I walked 45 minutes today. So not too bad with the exercise.
My eating? Pretty good, if a little under on calories today. I took a packet of tuna salad and a whole wheat wrap for lunch, but one of the guys ended up going out and getting lunch for Chris and me (thanks, Greg). Unfortunately, something in the lunch didn’t agree with me…that entire lunch came right back up (sorry, don’t mean to gross anyone out…I was trying to think of how to word this delicately, but since I’m not the delicate, dainty type, I couldn’t think of anything less crude…sorry). Chris and I had the same thing and he wasn’t sick, so who knows what caused it? I did eat a thing of string cheese and a wrap tonight and feel okay, so it must have been just one of those inexplicable digestive things… Kind of an uncomfortable way to come in under on your daily caloric intake though.
I have tomorrow off work…yes!! I’m planning to sleep in…gosh,at least until 6 am!! Won’t that be a treat?! What are your plans for tomorrow? And how did today go for you?

60 days! Woo Hoo That’s some exercise plan you’ve found–one that pays you. lol I had a good day, calorie-wise, still under about 400, might make a cup of hot chocolate. The air has that ‘fall’ smell to it; unless that was from hubby mowing the grass. He found one of the caterpillars on the house siding, and it was already in chrysalis when he showed it to me after writers group. That made my day! The others continue to chomp away on the fennel and parsley. Hope you get a good night’s rest!
I had a decent night’s sleep, woke up at around 4:30, read for a while, then went back to sleep until almost 7…ahh…sleeping in!
Congratulations on the 60 days! With winter coming I’ll have to get an exercise program going soon. During the winter I get bored and give up on any routine I begin, it seems. Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Simone…yeah, those long, cold, snowy, icy, dreary winters are tough on the fitness routine…that’s when I’m really glad I’ve got a treadmill…
